Wonderful glaze on this large and lovely covered ginger jar, with a strong Asian aesthetic. The signature is indecipherable, but the date of 1984 is relatively clear. This piece is unique enough to stand on its own, and makes a strong, graceful and elegant statement. (Japanese?)
