  French Art Nouveau Rambervillers iridescent and gilt vase with molded lobsters. Marked on base with the round Rambervillers Vosges and also stamped Unis France. This model by Charles Catteau is featured in the French reference book, Gres Flammes de Rambervillers Art Nouveau dans les Vosges, page 139. Notes: french Art Nouveau pottery Rambervillers was produced 1861-1941, specializing in unusual and iridescent glazes on organic forms. Rambervillers produced ceramics often designed by members of the Ecole de Nancy, many of which were decorated with superb luster glazes. Ceramist Charles Catteau worked for Rambervillers circa 1900 and before 1906 when he started to work for Boch Frères Keramis.
